WordPress Integration

Connect your WordPress site to Wrodium and publish AI-optimized content directly to your blog.

Prerequisites

• WordPress 5.0 or higher
• Administrator access to your WordPress site
• Wrodium account with CMS integration enabled

1Generate Application Password

WordPress uses Application Passwords for API authentication:

1. Log in to your WordPress admin panel
2. Go to Users → Profile
3. Scroll to Application Passwords
4. Enter "Wrodium" as the application name
5. Click Add New Application Password
6. Copy the generated password (you won't see it again)

2Connect in Wrodium

1. Open Wrodium and go to Settings → Integrations
2. Click Add WordPress Site
3. Enter your WordPress site URL
4. Enter your WordPress username
5. Paste the Application Password
6. Click Connect

3Configure Field Mapping

Map Wrodium content fields to your WordPress post structure:

• Title → Post Title
• Content → Post Content
• Meta Description → Yoast/SEO Meta (if available)
• Featured Image → Featured Image
• Categories → Post Categories

Publishing Content

Once connected, you can publish content from Wrodium:

1. Create or generate an article in Wrodium
2. Click Publish to CMS
3. Select your WordPress site
4. Choose Draft or Published status
5. Click Publish

Troubleshooting

Connection failed?

• Verify your site URL includes https://
• Check that Application Passwords are enabled
• Ensure your user has editor or administrator role
• Confirm REST API is accessible at yoursite.com/wp-json/
